mission is to provide new and fresh content covering US Soccer, MLS and World
Soccer News highlights, standings and scores. Our aim is to offer new perspectives
on the game that unites the world, reaching American and international audiences. Site
Overview Slidetackle Magazine is an online soccer magazine devoted to
covering US soccer news and popular culture. Content is updated daily with special
features running on a weekly basis.
The magazine's major sections are as follows: - MLS
- This section covers news about MLS, player transfers, coaching changes, bust-ups,
and match summaries, player interviews, standings, statistics, and more.
- English
Premier League - The EPL is one of the most exciting leagues in the entire world.
STM will cover news and highlights form the EPL, including match summaries, news,
highlights, and more.
- The
Terraces - Fan Forum - This section is for the fans and includes message boards,
chat rooms (coming soon), fan letters and emails, news, contests, and fun downloads.
- Weekly Features
- In addition to our main sections, STM will have weekly features including, book
reviews, poems, club songs, fan letters, art work, music reviews, player/team
of the week/month, and more.
- Site
Management - In addition to content, we will also have registration forms, mass
email lists, banner ads, contact links, site support, and more.
STM
Market Demographic STM has targeted a few key market audiences.
We anticipate that our main audience will consist of 18 - 35 yr. males. Yet we
don't limit our market potential and actively court youth, female and older target
markets in order to gain a wider readership that will ensure our viability as
a magazine and marketing partner. Target

soccer shops, league web sites, flyers, papers, universities, etc.…
STM
future marketing plans include radio spots, possible TV ads on foxsportsworld
and other non-conventional avenues such as sponsoring small music events and more.

Slidetackle Magazine is actively seeking to develop a content/marketing partnership
with your company. STM suggests the following partner proposal options. STM provides
these only as starting points and is open to discussing all options.
Option I
Partner will provide
content and photos preferably covering the EPL, Champions League and Scottish
League (to be negotiated) in exchange for banner ad space, marketing space and
extra provisional STM promotional tools (to be negotiated). Option
II Partner can
become the exclusive provider of all soccer news outside the US. In exchange for
content & photos (to be negotiated), STM will offer partner company a sizable
amount of space on the web site for marketing, promotions, content, and email
tools (to be negotiated). Partner

considering the short term and long term future of US Soccer. The game is growing
by leaps and bounds and is slowly taking hold in a permanent fashion in the States.
The combination of the World Cup '94, World Cup '99 and MLS have definitely helped
generate a renewed interest in a sport that generates over $255 billion annually
(figures via FIFA). As
such, STM is moving quickly to gain a foothold in a market that will soon begin
to flex muscle in terms of buying power and presence. STM will pursue partnerships
with US soccer bodies in order to widen the range of the magazine. Your company
